A vertical pipe penetrates a roof assembly consisting of a concrete-filled metal deck, thermal insulation, a vapor barrier wrap, rigid insulation, a cover board, and a roof membrane. A pre-formed flashing boot fits tightly over the pipe penetration and extends onto the roof membrane, secured at the top by an adjustable stainless steel clamp with sealing mastic applied at the joint.
