A detachable wire rope deflector assembly protects the building facade from platform wire rope abrasion during maintenance operations. The unit features rounded wire rope guides secured with a detachable four-ball pin and lanyard assembly identical to an ISA. Wire ropes are spaced approximately two feet on center with a twenty-one inch dimension between guide components.
