A cast iron roof drain assembly and an overflow drain with a two-inch overflow dam are installed within a recessed sump on a plywood deck. The assembly features a four-pound lead flashing sheet set into roof cement over an installed base sheet, flanked by a four-inch fiber cant strip. Built-up roofing extends across the deck and terminates at the drain perimeter over a sheet metal sump receiver. Steel clamping rings secure the membrane to the drain body, and steel clamping rings are specified by note. A factory sump receiver must be used according to the installation notes.
