A metallic conduit or cable chase penetrates a wall or ceiling assembly with annular space sealed using ceramic fiber or mineral wool packing and fire stopping putty or caulk. A bushing is provided on each side of the wall if the penetration is for a data cable chase. UL listed fire stopping is required per manufacturers recommendations at all penetrated fire walls along with manufacturer shop drawings for each wall configuration.
PROVIDE BUSHING ON EACH SIDE OF THE WALL IF THE PENETRATION IS FOR DATA CABLE CHASE FIRE STOPPING PUTTY OR CAULK METALLIC CONDUIT OR CABLE CHASE CERAMIC FIBER OR MINERAL WOOL WALL OR CEILING ASSEMBLY 1. PROVIDE UL LISTED FIRE STOPPING PER MANUFACTURERS RECOMMENDATIONS AT ALL FIRE WALLS WHICH ARE PENETRATED. 2.
