A pipe or similar roof penetration is flashed using a sixty mil non-reinforced PVC sleeve secured over a sixty mil PVC membrane. The sleeve requires a minimum of eight inches of flashing height and is anchored with a stainless steel screw clamp over a cushion strip with contact adhesive. A minimum of four appropriate fasteners are spaced evenly around the pipe through the sleeve flange, sealed with two inches of continuous weld at the overlap and lap sealant on cut edges. A prefabricated flashing boot may be used provided the eight inch minimum flashing height is met, with a double cinch band and sealant required on square tube steel.
