A fourteen-gauge angle measuring four by four inches and one foot four inches long fastens to the underside of a concrete-filled metal deck. When anchored to concrete and metal deck, the angle secures with four total zero-point-one-five-seven-inch diameter Hilti X-U powder-driven fasteners with one and one-quarter-inch embedment. When attached to metal deck only, the angle secures with four number twelve sheet metal screws running parallel to the flutes. A stud kicker, sized and spaced per wall sections, connects to the clip angle using four number ten sheet metal screws.
