An eight-inch round light bollard stands three feet four inches tall above finish grade, supported by a cast-in-place concrete footing. A continuous three-eighth-inch asphaltic expansion joint isolates the bollard base from the surrounding six-inch concrete band with a smooth trowel finish. Two continuous number three reinforcing bars run through the concrete footing and must be verified with structural drawings. The concrete footing depth is determined by the soils report.
