A loading dock leveler pit section and anchor layout features a concrete pit framed with continuous three-inch by three-inch by quarter-inch steel curb angles secured by minimum six-inch long hooked anchors spaced at twelve inches on center. A platform edge angle of the same dimension protects the outer slab corner. A laminated rubber dock bumper is welded to the steel angle and anchored below with an expansion anchor as needed. The pit floor is pitched by half an inch, with side curb angles set precisely ninety degrees to the dock face.
