An aluminum storefront system terminates against a gypsum board partition framed with metal studs. A continuous brake metal channel matching the storefront finish wraps the partition end and extends from floor to ceiling. A continuous neoprene shim is placed between the brake metal channel and the head of the aluminum storefront frame.
