A Perm-A-Barrier Ultra self-adhered flashing strip is inverted and sized to cover the sheathing gap at the movement joint. An M-slide expansion joint accommodates structural deflection, backed by a minimum three-quarter-inch backer rod and sealant placed over fasteners.
