A 1-1/2 inch outside diameter painted steel pipe guardrail and handrail assembly terminates at a concrete landing. The posts anchor to a 4 inch by 4 inch by 5/16 inch painted steel angle with concrete embedment cast into the concrete landing slab. A 12 gauge painted steel toe plate is welded to the posts and the steel angle. Spacing for intermediate rails is set at equal intervals with a 4 inch maximum clearance at the base.
