A metal framed gypsum board ceiling is suspended using two and a half inch ceiling runners spaced at sixteen inches on center, unless noted otherwise, with wire hangers spaced at a maximum of twenty-four inches on center. The ceiling surface is finished with five-eighths inch gypsum board attached to the framing.
