A roof drain assembly is set into a concrete structural slab with a rainwater leader and a strainer centered on a line of symmetry. A collar insert is included at the overflow drain only and shown dashed. Tapered rigid insulation and a coverboard sit above a vapor barrier and the concrete structural slab. A fully adhered single-ply roofing membrane is applied over the insulation with membrane adhesive, secured with a fastener and plate, and sealed with sealing mastic. A one and a half inch minimum weld connects the drain components.
