An exterior steel stair base assembly features a painted steel stringer supporting galvanized bar grated pans with closed risers. A galvanized steel end plate and clip are welded to the stringer at the bottom riser return. A pipe handrail and guardrail, painted to match CO02, connects to the assembly with all welds ground smooth. A contrasting stair nosing is provided on the treads, maintaining standard tread and clearance dimensions.
