This assembly bridges a building expansion joint over metal decking using a central expansion joint support and sponge tubing or filler installed per the manufacturer. R-Control EPS insulation fills the assembly below a reinforced waterproofing membrane. Fasteners and fastening plates secure the membrane edges twelve inches on center, finished with cut-edge sealant.
