A scheduled light fixture is integrated flush into an acoustic plaster ceiling assembly backed by stud framing. The fixture features a manufacturer's mud-in flange that receives the acoustic plaster finish for a seamless trimless appearance. The ceiling substrate is secured with mechanical fasteners to furring channels spanning the framing assembly.
