Step 4 directs the installation of a back angle set in sealant within the rough opening per the construction documents. Step 5 requires applying liquid applied flashing over the rough opening interior at the head, jambs, and sill, and around the rough opening, extending it out two inches onto the exterior sheathing. The flashing wraps the perimeter of the opening with a two-inch minimum overlap onto the wall plane.
