A suspended acoustic ceiling system connects to a gypsum board soffit framing assembly using a flush transition molding and a corner bead at the vertical drop. The acoustic ceiling panel is supported by hanger wires secured to the structure above. The soffit framing is installed per structural specifications alongside a scheduled ceiling finish. A detail reference bubble for sheet A5.400 is positioned above the junction.
