The suspended ceiling assembly features back-to-back runner channels spliced with a minimum one-foot overlap, fastened using number ten sheet metal screws typically spaced at one inch, three and a half inches, and three inches. Hanger wire wraps each main runner splice. Furring channels are likewise suspended with hanger wires at each splice and tied with sixteen-gauge double loops.
