A 1-1/2 inch outer diameter steel guardrail runs at 42 inches above the landing, accompanied by a 1-1/2 inch outer diameter steel handrail welded to steel bar brackets at 36 inches. Vertical 1-1/2 inch outer diameter steel tube rails connect to the steel channel stringer. Infilled perforated metal panels provide barrier protection below the top rail with a maximum 4-inch clearance above the landing.
