A stainless steel grab bar is secured to a Type 1 backing plate concealed within the partition assembly using three quarter-inch by two and a half inch diameter stainless steel Phillips round head machine screws at each flange. The partition features a porcelain tile wall finish over a backing specified on the architectural plans. The installation maintains a typical one and a half inch clearance between the grab bar and the finished wall surface.
