A hollow structural section curtain wall mullion is integrated into a two-hour rated partition following UL Design U419. The assembly utilizes twenty-by-four metal framing wrapped with a laminated metal finish. A continuous half-inch glulam cap finishes the architectural transition. Mineral wool insulation fills the partition cavity, while the joint between assemblies is sealed with sealant and a backer rod.
