A continuous sheet of reinforced membrane wraps around the roof curb or is formed from coated metal, bonded with adhesive over rigid insulation. Seam fastening plates secure the membrane base, and cut-edge sealant is applied along the perimeter. A metal cap or counter flashing is installed at the top of the curb and fastened twelve inches on center.
