A seven-foot-long concrete-filled steel pipe guard post extends into a forty-two-inch-deep concrete footing, featuring a square steel plate welded to the bottom with a three-eighths-inch fillet weld and maintaining a three-inch clear distance from the bottom. The top of the concrete inside the pipe is sloped and painted to match the post. Exterior conditions require PVC or concrete finishing, set two inches above the finished grade with one-half-inch radius tooled edges in landscape areas while finishing level at the interior of the building. A schedule specifies pipe diameters of four, six, and eight inches paired with corresponding footing diameters of eighteen, twenty-four, and thirty inches, along with six-, eight-, and ten-inch square plates.
