A one and one-half inch outer diameter painted steel handrail mounts to a steel handrail bracket spaced at four feet zero inches on center maximum. The bracket is secured to the face of the existing masonry wall using three-eighths inch diameter by three inch sleeve anchors. A one and one-half inch clearance is maintained between the handrail and the wall face. The handrail is welded to the bracket.
