Suspended ceiling attachments to structural concrete overhead are detailed for both vertical hanger wires and splayed seismic bracing wires. Vertical hanger wires secure to a shot-in anchor embedded in the structural concrete via a ceiling clip, finished with a minimum of three turns. Splayed seismic bracing wires anchor to the concrete using a drill-in anchor attached to a steel strap measuring 1 inch wide by 2 inches long with a 12 gauge minimum, maintaining a 45-degree angle. Additional details show countersloping requirements with a 3-inch minimum separation.
