A floating counter is constructed from plastic laminate wrapped plywood with a perimeter stud framing layout typical. The assembly rests on a three-quarter inch thick vertical plywood support wrapped with plastic laminate on each side. A storefront mullion is positioned beyond the counter assembly at a maximum height of thirty-four inches from the finished floor.
