This assembly consists of a vertical blade louver frame mounted atop a metal sill pan, which is shimmed as required to ensure proper drainage. The louver frame is secured to the substrate and sealed at the interior with sealant and a backer rod. An insect screen is integrated into the louver system. The sill pan extends outward to form a drip edge, and the entire assembly is positioned to maintain a weather-tight seal at the louver base.
