Floor transitions sit over a cast-in-place concrete slab that is floated to achieve required alignments. Resinous flooring and resilient tile flooring abut carpet tile and walk-off mats using stainless steel Schluter Vinpro-U transition anchors secured to the slab and sealed for water resistance. Epoxy terrazzo and scheduled tile are bedded in thinset mortar over a bonding agent at control joints containing a one-quarter-inch aluminum divider strip, backer rod, and sealant.
