A metal scupper sleeve penetrates a framed parapet wall featuring a continuous TPO roof membrane extending up the wall and over the parapet. The assembly incorporates a wood nailer secured at the top of the parapet, five-eighths inch glass mat gypsum sheathing, three inches of insulation, an air barrier, and a vapor retarder. TPO flashing is integrated around the scupper penetration with sealant applied and fasteners spaced at four inches on center. A two-inch minimum clearance is maintained for the scupper sleeve installation, and sheet metal flashing caps the top of the parapet.
