A hollow metal door frame connects to a tilt-up concrete wall featuring a shim space if needed and a continuous sealant bead at the exterior joint. The interior side transitions to a light gauge framed wall finished with five-eighths inch gypsum board and continuous insulation specified per sheet G001. A half-inch quarter-round drip edge is cast into the exterior concrete profile three-quarters of an inch from the opening.
