The curtain wall jamb connects to the rough opening per plan with designated curtain wall framing and waterproofing elements. A weather-resistive barrier designated as WRB-2 wraps the backup wall behind the exterior finish. Metal flashing MF-X integrates with the curtain wall perimeter and water-resistive membrane to direct moisture outward. A sealant joint seals the interface between the aluminum curtain wall extrusion and the adjacent masonry return.
