An elevator pit ladder is anchored to a concrete wall using three-eighths by four-inch support bracket plates welded to the ladder rails and bolted to the concrete. One-half by four-inch expansion bolts secure the brackets into the concrete wall only, using one-half inch diameter galvanized bolts and washers. The ladder rails are bent and aligned with the brackets, requiring field verification of wall type and thickness prior to fabrication. The fabricated unit is galvanized and includes necessary metal siding molding to work around supports above a four-inch concrete slab.
