A six-foot nine-inch long concrete-filled steel pipe is anchored within a twelve-inch diameter concrete footing, extending four feet above finished grade with a sloped concrete top. The exterior footing requires polyvinyl chloride or concrete construction, positioned two inches above finished grade in landscape areas with half-inch rounded edges. Three inches of clearance is maintained at the bottom of the steel pipe relative to the bottom of the footing. General notes specify standard guard post sizing of six inches in diameter with a quarter-inch minimum thickness, along with placement criteria around transformers, fire hydrants, and truck well ramp walls.
