Cold-formed steel framing connects against a concrete wall for both stud and joist conditions. The stud condition incorporates a Superior No. 53 twenty-gauge deflection track fastened to the concrete wall with zero point one seven seven inch diameter by one and one-half inch long shot pins with metal washers at twenty-four inches on center. A one-half inch gap is filled with caulking on both sides, and gypsum board is applied as required per the floor plan. The joist condition features a steel track and steel joist secured with zero point one seven seven inch shot pins at twenty-four inches on center to the track at each stud, utilizing number ten screws. A continuous 362T18 track is positioned below with caulking at the joint.
