The top of the handrail is positioned three feet zero inches above the nosing or floor, with a minimum clearance of one-and-a-half inches below. The one-and-a-quarter-inch nominal pipe size steel pipe guardrail is set at three feet six inches above the nosing or floor, centered three-and-seven-eighths inches from the baluster line.
