An exterior door header assembly transitions from a concrete wall to a hollow metal or aluminum storefront frame. Continuous sealant caulking is applied on each side of the frame head against the concrete wall. A Pemko raindrip is attached to the exterior face of the storefront frame using factory-provided number 6 by 5/8 inch Phillips pan head sheet metal screws. A painted door is installed below, finished to match the concrete panel color.
