A panel-mounted laboratory gas valve assembly features a forged brass lever handle with a colored plastic index disc, a concealed locking ring with a 1-7/16-inch threaded escutcheon, and a label supplied for the front of the panel. The mounting system utilizes a 3/8-inch iron pipe size mounting shank secured with a locknut and washer through the fume hood side wall. Pre-piped concealed plumbing connects to a forged brass valve body containing a fine control needle valve and a four-arm handle. An epoxy color-coated panel-mounted brass flange with an angle serrated hose end completes the exterior connection. A note specifies providing lever handles at all laboratory gas fittings unless otherwise noted.
