A hollow structural section column bears on a nine-inch by five-inch by one-half-inch embed plate welded with three-sixteenth-inch fillets. The embed plate is anchored into a concrete wall using two three-quarter-inch diameter anchor bolts with full penetration welds to the embed plate. The concrete wall provides structural support with specified dimensions for bolt spacing and embedment depth.
