This assembly consists of a twenty-gauge galvanized steel rain hood designed to protect cablebus wall penetrations. The hood features a two-inch flange that must be secured to a flat wall surface, with the specific connection method determined by the manufacturer. A one-quarter-inch bead of silicone sealant is applied at the flange-to-wall interface to ensure a weather-tight seal. The hood dimensions must be verified against the cablebus, requiring a two-inch clearance wider than the outer dimension of the cablebus on each side.
