A ceramic tile floor assembly is installed over a waterproofing membrane and thinset mortar bed, meeting a vertical scheduled partition. A ceramic tile base transitions up the wall and is finished at the top with a Schluter strip edge profile, caulking, and an even finish paint edge. Joint sealant is provided at the internal corner between the tile floor and base.
