An exterior concrete apron abuts a concrete tilt-up panel foundation with a one-half-inch expansion joint. The steel door jamb extends two inches minimum into the concrete. An overhead metal door guide is positioned beyond the steel door jamb over the concrete tilt-up panel. The concrete apron slopes away from the opening with a one-half-inch drop.
