The head condition of a curtain wall system intersects a metal panel exterior wall. A 22-gauge continuous drip edge matching the metal panel finish is positioned at the exterior corner. Continuous backer rod and sealant seal the joint above the curtain wall frame. An air barrier is installed continuously into the head assembly, backed by continuous counterflashing, corner beads, and shims.
