This assembly details a hot stack pipe penetration through a TPO membrane roof system. The pipe is surrounded by an insulated metal sleeve and a field-fabricated metal hood, which is secured at the top with a continuous bead of high-temperature sealant. A stainless steel clamping ring provides mechanical compression against the sleeve. The TPO membrane flashing is adhered to the sleeve and the roof deck using manufacturer-approved bonding adhesive, with the base secured by fasteners and heavy-duty seam plates spaced at 12 inches on center maximum. All membrane seams are heat-welded with a minimum 2-inch splice, and exposed edges are finished with a continuous bead of TPO cut edge sealant. A TPO split pipe boot is utilized for the transition, with T-joint patches required at all vertical and horizontal overlaps.
