This assembly details a window head integration with a vertical metal cladding exterior wall and storefront system. A weather-resistive barrier laps over the head trim and sam head flashing, supported by horizontal Z-framing and sheet metal head flashing above the storefront. The storefront system includes a composite head with backer rod and sealant at the joint. Interior head framing per structural receives an eighteen gauge plate, flexible flashing with sealant against the window head trim, and a gypsum board return to the storefront frame meeting the ceiling per plan.
