Roof drains and overflow drains are set into the roof assembly with a minimum two-foot spacing between drain centerlines. A single-ply roof membrane runs over rigid insulation, which is tapered toward the drains. A two-inch collar is provided at overflow drains only, projecting two inches above the adjacent roof level. The entire drain assembly sits within roof sheathing sized per structural drawings.
