A hollow metal fully welded frame is set into a framed partition and sealed at both sides with five-eighths inch continuous non-hardening resilient sealant where the frame meets the finished opening wall. The window head includes a header assembly and an adjacent shade assembly mounted where indicated. Glass glazing is secured with a glazing stop and countersunk fasteners on the secure side only.
