Curtain wall vertical mullion and jamb details meet steel stud partition walls. The assembly features boxed jamb studs framed at sixteen inches on center supporting five-eighths inch painted drywall on both interior faces. Batt insulation fills the stud cavity per the wall type schedule, while interior acoustical sealant caulks the perimeter joints on both sides with color matched to the frame. The aluminum storefront system incorporates tube mullions, shim supports, and optional internal steel reinforcing for increased structural capacity at the opening jamb.
