A quarter-inch closer steel plate is welded to the end of the stair stringer. A four-inch by three-inch by quarter-inch by eight-inch long steel angle is welded to the stringer and anchored to the floor slab with two three-quarter-inch diameter expansion bolts spaced at a minimum of five inches. Reference is made to detail two for typical notes.
