A flush hollow metal door frame is installed in an interior partition framing assembly. The jamb width matches the wall width, featuring king studs at the jamb and a box beam header. Three Z-jamb anchors secure each side of the frame with a one-quarter-inch shim space. A J-mold trim piece finishes the gypsum board edge, and acoustical insulation fills the cavity where required for acoustic partitions. A concealed hinge connects the door per schedule to the frame.
